I had a lot of real fun making my YouTube video which inevitably just became me discussing myself. For a person who hates the sound of his own voice I found the editing process took a significantly longer time than I had first anticipated, however using Microsoft Clipchamp I was able to do it with relative ease. For the most part I just kept the raw footage as I find that most YouTube videos and youtubers in general try to keep this supposed amateur aesthetic for as long as possible as it creates relatability to them as well as humanising them with obvious straight cuts being left in when things have obviously been cut out. I also found that messing about with different camera angles and lighting lead to more creativity. My shooting location would only be accessible on sunnier days as it doesn’t get a lot of light from my lights as the walls and ceiling are dark, so I had to wait for the most opportune moment.
